So, initially I used to think 20 or 30 grams is the max. But that is not. That is the amount that will actually initiate muscle synthesis. That’s it.

the rest will be used. So eat it.

Purity of fasting and running

No supplements. No complicated workouts. No modern 6 meals. No eating all the time.

The modern world will distract you, steal your focus, and fill you with disease. They make you eat processed GARBAGE all the time. The high stress world around you forces you to drink to waste time. Your own personal life is a mess and so you drink and eat and sleep. You overthink shit to try to come back, but then you waste another year, and another decade.

Fuck no

There is a purity to just fasting and running. Keep your food in check. Don’t eat all the time. And just go for runs to clear the head. You will fucking love it.

I love running and physical activity

You are sitting in the apartment… sometimes sitting there for days. It seems like nothing can get you out of your funk.

But, just get out there and run. No judgements. After 1.5 miles, it starts to feel awesome again.

This is a fucking emergency dude

I am at fucking rock bottom in terms of obesity. Nothing is fucking moving the needle.

The longer I stay obese, the more I am killing myself.

Because this is a fucking disease. I need to beat this disease like I beat covid!

The plan:

  1. One 24 hour fast every week.
  2. 18 hour fast every day
  3. Cardio 2x in fasted state
  4. CLOSE TO ZERO BOOZE
  5. No food after 7pm until you are in 250s
  6. GO OUT EVERY DAY FOR 30 MINUTES
  7. 1000 calorie burn average per day
  8. Use Chewing Gum to get rid of cravings.
  9. 90% of my food should be: chicken, veggies, fish, yoghurt, protein stuff and potatoes
  10. Keep it simple
  11. You are not a big guy. You are curing a diease quickly
  12. Hunger is okay
  13. One cheat day per month is okay
  14. Eat a SHIT TON OF PROTEIN. You are not eating protein enough.

Glucose Control is Critical

To loose weight, you have to plummet the glucose. Otherwise the body cannot activate the fat.

TLDR:

  • Interestingly, FOOD ORDERING can impact the glucose spikes!!!!
  • And, EATING PROTEIN can limit the spikes!!
  • Walking after food can also plummet glucose

Wadsworth Constant

I love this concept and I kind of use this in real life.

The wadsworth constant refers to the fact that skipping the first 30% of any video is usually not detrimental as it’s mainly introduction, sponsors, etc.

In my running journey, I tried for years to do the “Couch to 5k” thing. But Kept failing! Then I got forced to run the 10k and BOOM, I haven’t looked back.

I need to think of ways to employ this more.

Summary:

  • Marathon 2024. 26.2 miles at 262 lbs.
  • Half Marathons, lots of running
  • Run 380 miles while listening to Harry Potter books (125 hours, about 450 miles worth)t
  • 1000 k burn a day (remember I do 200 calories per mile)
  • 1800 k eat a day.
  • Virtually no booze

The Ultimate Discipline

You have evolved to not starve. So, you are hard wired to eat everything on you plate. And some more.

But this is a trick.

The hardest discipline is to control the self. Don’t go all out. Eat less. Your brain is a muscle and the more you reject things, the better you will get at rejecting.

Hunger is OKAY.
