- Build muscle rather than burn fat

Why do you want to run this stupid marathon?
- I have to run.
- I don’t want to — I need to. That’s it.
- I have to prove to myself at this age that I can do it.
- Life has been hard for me.
- I am fat. I have lost so much family. My dad’s second heart operation.
- I cannot sit on my ass and let that happen to me.
- I cannot, cannot let that happen.
Motivations
- I want to possess great aesthetic
- I want to feel young and energetic
Fuck Carpe Diem
- I know this void well. In the abyss, the mind becomes unconscious but the body is awake.
- One glass followed by another, one bar to another. It’s 1:30am, 2:00am.
- Ordering Grubhub at 3am, and sleeping at 4am. Waking up at 7am.
- The strong desire to fill this void with entropy
- It’s fine brother, I don’t judge you. I know it happens.
- But let me ask you: why not just stop, right now?
